  D/FW EC Forum

The DFW EC Forum’s mission is to serve as a catalyst for evolving technology and business.

 

Forum meetings are normally held quarterly on the fourth Tuesday of the first month of the quarter. Meeting time is typically 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Meeting location is a restaurant near D/FW Airport. There is no charge for the meeting, and attendees are responsible for their own lunches.

Tom Mongoven, Senior Manager in Deloitte Consulting LLP's Information Management Practice, has led information quality improvement projects at multiple organizations and will share the experiences and actions these organizations took on to improve their Information Quality and eCommerce Programs.

Q2 Meeting - Tentative - EDI in the 21st Century -- Tuesday, April 22

EDI has been through many changes since the Forum was founded in 1991. Despite several predictions of demise, EDI is still going strong. This panel discussion featuring several area companies will review how their current EDI operations and how they have changed over the past ten years.

Global data synchronization has come a long way since the first rumblings of UCCnet. In this panel discussion we'll hear perspectives from both customers and suppliers about successes, failures, and lessons learned.
